ART OF TASTE PASADENA × THE HILL HOUSE

At The Hill House in Pasadena, art is part of everyday life. Spanning eight distinct buildings, this extraordinary art compound brings together a home, gallery, artist residency and creative gathering place, with gardens and a sculpture park extending the experience outdoors.

For Art of Taste Pasadena × The Hill House, just 34 guests are invited to share an afternoon and evening of art, music, food and conversation in this remarkable setting.

The afternoon begins at 4 PM with a private tour and viewing, offering guests the opportunity to explore the compound, its art collection, the gardens created in collaboration with artist Petra Cortright, and the property’s sculpture park.

Guests will also experience Julio Rizhi’s exhibition, Kwatiri Kubva Nekwatiri Kuenda — Where We Are Coming From and Where We Are Going. Exceptional sound systems and an extensive vinyl collection bring another dimension to the afternoon, inviting guests to pause, listen and spend time with the art.

At 6 PM, we will take our seats for a five-course tasting dinner by Chef Luis “Dynamite” Berg. Drawing on his training in Michelin-starred kitchens and inspired by the setting, Chef Berg will create a menu centered on local, seasonal ingredients, accompanied by thoughtfully selected wine pairings throughout the evening.
As afternoon gives way to evening, discovery continues around the table, with new connections and conversations unfolding over each course.
